Throughout the year FAN hosts member events such as: luncheons where topics of interest to the arts community are explored in lively panel discussions by leaders in the arts; FAN funded performances or exhibits held in conjunction with a special event through our cultural camaraderie program; and events specially arranged for our membership. Descriptions of our Member Programs are below.
The monthly board meetings are usually held on the third Wednesday of September, October, November, January, February, March, and April. The May meeting is held in conjunction with the Annual Grants Awards.
LUNCHEON MEMBERSHIP MEETING
The quarterly luncheons are usually held on the first Tuesday of October, December, March and May. Three of these meetings include panel discussions on interesting and current topics in the world of dance, music, theater and visual arts. The fourth meeting (May) is devoted to the presentation of the Annual FAN Grant Awards.
Guests and prospective members are welcomed at these meetings. Grantees, panelists and arts leaders mingle informally with members and guests.
Cultural Camaraderie events are planned so that members can attend and support programs funded by FAN. Perquisites from grantees are not allowed and FAN Members pay for the cost of the performances or exhibitions. Plans may also include a lunch, dinner, or social reception, making these gatherings a great way to meet new friends while enjoying cultural events.
SPECIAL MEMBERS ONLY EVENTS
Members only events are held several times each year in appreciation of and exclusively for our members. Please watch for our next special event.
