FANS Enjoy Ballanchine’s The Nutcracker, Produced With New Sets and Costumes
George Balanchine’s version of Tchaikovsky’s famed ballet The Nutcracker®, delighted FANS with a new production on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at The Adrienne Arsht Ballet & Opera House.
The holiday tradition you love became even more magical with an all-new production by Cuban-American artistic power couple Isabel and Ruben Toledo. They retired their 27-year-old Nutcracker production to make way for new enchanting sets and costumes, but of course retaining George Balanchine’s iconic choreography and Tchaikovsky’s timeless score — performed by the Opus One Orchestra at every show.
FANS and guests enjoyed lunch before the ballet at Books and Books at the Adrienne Arsht Center.
