Cultural Camaraderie: Dangerous Women

On Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 10 am The FIU Frost Museum will present “Dangerous Women,” more than 20 paintings and etchings from the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. The Exhibition explores women of the Bible as portrayed by 16th and 17th century artists and will conclude with a modern and contemporary coda: Robert Henri’s sensuous Salome and Thomas Mickalene’s portrait of Mamma Bush 2010. Docent Tour begins at 11 am. The event is free.
FIU Frost Museum is located at 10975 SW 17 Street, Miami. Park in the metered spots in the lot next to the Museum or the Blue or the Gold Garage. Lunch to follow at Blue Matisse at the Intercontinental Hotel in Doral, 2505 NW 87th St. Executive lunch $21 with complimentary parking.
